The large-scale wind-PV hydrogen production project adopts the form of wind-PV complementary and green power hydrogen production, and has been included in the list of key construction projects in Hebei Province. According to information, the project is expected to generate over 6.2 billion kilowatt hours of green power annually. If all used to produce hydrogen, it can generate more than 90000 tons of green hydrogen every year. Wind-PV complementary: help the construction of Xiong'an New Area
Hongmeng Kangbao large-scale wind-PV complementary hydrogen production project was built by Hongmeng New Energy Co., Ltd. with an investment of 17.4 billion yuan, including a 1.2 million kilowatt PV project, a 1.5 million kilowatt wind power project, and a supporting integrated hydrogen energy "production, storage, transmission, and distribution" project. Windey is responsible for the construction of 6 wind and PV projects in the phase I, with a total capacity of 1.25 million kilowatts. All 136 WTGS are Windey 6.XMW series units, with leading grid friendly support technology in China. The grid active adaptation and the certification of power quality assessment and testing are the first in China.
After the completion of this large-scale wind-PV project, the green power generated will be connected to the Zhangbei - Xiong'an 1000kV ultra-high voltage AC transmission and transformation power station through the 500kV substation in Kangbao County. Through this clean energy channel connecting the transmission and consumption ends, Zhangjiakou's abundant wind and PV resources will be transformed into industrial advantages, and the green power will be continuously transmitted to the Xiong'an New Area under construction, which can solve the problem of high power demand during the construction of the New Area, provide important support for the future realization of 100% clean green power supply in the New Area, and better promote the high-quality development of local economy.
Green power hydrogen production: promote the development of emerging industry
Hydrogen energy is an important component of the future national energy system and a key carrier for energy consumption terminals to achieve green and low-carbon development. According to the China Hydrogen Alliance, by 2025, the output value of China's hydrogen energy industry will reach 1 trillion yuan, becoming a new growth pole leading the green and low-carbon development of the economy. After the completion of Zhangjiakou Wind-PV Comprehensive Utilization (Hydrogen Production) Demonstration Project, the annual production of green power can exceed 6.2 billion kilowatt hours. If all used for hydrogen production, it can generate 90000 tons of green hydrogen every year.
Under this background, Windey has seized the opportunity and actively participated in the construction of the large-scale wind-PV complementary and green power hydrogen production project in Kangbao, Hebei. Hebei Kangbao Hongmeng EPC project is the first large-scale EPC project undertaken by Windey, with a total installed capacity of 700MW, which is constructed by Chengdu Jingheng Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Windey.
